Job Description
Join Sasken Technologies as a Software Test & Release Engineer, where you’ll be part of a technically advanced team contributing to end-to-end testing and release activities across 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies. You’ll apply deep knowledge in protocol stack testing and automation frameworks, working closely under the guidance of team leads or project managers to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, fix bugs, document and provide technical support in assigned areas
- Deliver outputs on time while meeting quality and productivity goals
- Follow internal guidelines and checklists for deliverable reviews
- Communicate regular status updates to the team lead
- Continuously upgrade technical skills via training, self-study, and assessments
Key Competencies
- Protocol Stack Testing for 2G/3G/LTE/5G technologies
- Interoperability testing with network operators and vendor labs (Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent)
- Development and execution of test plans using automation frameworks
- Log collection, debugging, and regression analysis
- Strong understanding of network scenarios, signaling, and user-plane call flows
- Expertise in 3GPP Radio Access Technologies (RAT), air interface, Layer 2/3 protocols, NAS layer
Tools & Platforms
- Testing Tools: QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Prism
- Test Instruments: Anritsu, Keysight
- Scripting & Automation: PERL, Python, TTCN, Shell scripts, TCL scripts
