Internship Overview
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will work on real-world applications in power systems, gaining exposure to data science, machine learning, automation, and predictive modeling. You’ll be part of a diverse, inclusive, and agile team contributing to clean, smart energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Study technical literature and develop scripts and algorithms for research topics
- Perform statistical and data analysis
- Build predictive maintenance models and implement intelligent alarm systems
- Automate data logger commissioning tasks
- Develop reliability models, lifecycle cost models, and reuse rate estimations
- Work with large-scale datasets using stream processing tools like PySpark
Required Educational Qualification
- Final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. / MS
- Specialization: Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines
Technical Skills
Python, Java, R, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Hadoop 2.0, Data Structures, Algorithms, Stream Processing, PySpark, Automation Scripting
Ideal Candidate Attributes
- Strong hands-on coding experience, especially in Python
- Exposure to Java, R, and cloud computing (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Sound statistical knowledge and understanding of AI/ML fundamentals
- Good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem and big data tools
- Proficient in algorithm optimization (time and space complexity)
- Familiar with Agile methodology and team collaboration
- Self-motivated, proactive, and analytical thinker
- Open to sharing knowledge and learning in a team environment
