Role Description

As an intern in the Technology Risk & Compliance team, you will work with internal stakeholders to ensure PhonePe’s products meet regulatory compliance standards. You will contribute to a variety of initiatives such as internal audits, third-party risk evaluations, and aligning operations with industry-standard practices and licenses including UPI, e-KYC, and Wallet.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal and regulatory audits
• Conduct third-party vendor risk assessments in partnership with business stakeholders
• Analyze regulatory frameworks and ensure alignment with PhonePe’s technology and operations
• Compile and document evidence demonstrating ongoing compliance
• Assist in the implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks

Skills & Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of information security principles and GRC
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders effectively
• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities
• Keen interest in regulatory and compliance roles within the tech industry
