About the Role
Nike, Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer I – Full Stack to join its Athlete Tools team within the Geographies & Marketplace Experiences (GaME) division at the India Technology Center (ITC). As part of this team, you will contribute to the creation of digital and in-store solutions that deliver outstanding consumer experiences across Nike’s global platforms.
This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students eager to begin their careers with real-world impact. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-quality software in a dynamic, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions
- Design RESTful APIs based on domain-driven design principles
- Collaborate with global and local engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Ensure production systems meet SLAs and performance KPIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
- Be part of a rotating production support model and global collaboration initiatives
- Proactively learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes
What You’ll Work On
- Build features using Java and Spring Boot that power Nike’s global digital transformation
- Develop scalable microservices integrated into cloud-based platforms
- Contribute to the health and maintainability of codebases and repositories
- Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate in agile ceremonies
- Engage in knowledge sharing through documentation, presentations, and pair programming
- Implement monitoring and logging using modern DevOps tools
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and contribute to Nike’s innovation culture
