Role Overview
As a Trainee Data Solutions Engineer, you will support the team in building and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and analytics dashboards. You’ll get real-world exposure to SQL, Azure tools, and Power BI while working alongside experienced data professionals in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and maintaining ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources
- Help build accurate and efficient data models that align with business goals
- Learn to work with structured and unstructured data to support centralized data repositories
- Write and optimize T-SQL queries for performance and reliability
- Support large-scale data processing using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and suggest basic optimizations
- Develop Power BI dashboards under the guidance of senior engineers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to data-driven strategies
Candidate Requirements
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database fundamentals
- Exposure to programming languages like Python or Scala
- Interest in cloud-based data tools, especially Azure services
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Educational Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or final-year students with relevant coursework/projects are encouraged to apply.
