Job Description
Makerble is hiring a Golang Developer Intern who will work in a real-world production environment with backend systems development. This opportunity allows interns to gain hands-on experience in building REST APIs, working with modern frameworks, and collaborating within a cross-functional development team. The internship is ideal for individuals passionate about backend technologies and eager to grow their technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement scalable backend services using Golang and the Gin framework
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support new and existing platform features
- Assist in database management, schema migrations using PostgreSQL and Atlas
- Utilize Kafka for data streaming and real-time processing tasks
- Contribute to system design, development, and backend architecture
- Participate in regular code reviews and discussions to improve overall code quality
- Apply DevOps concepts and assist in cloud operations using Azure Cloud
- Support the team in identifying, debugging, and resolving software issues
Eligibility
- Must be available for a full-time internship
- Immediate joiners preferred
Educational Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Technical Skills
Golang, Gin framework, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Atlas, Azure, SQL, Ruby on Rails (optional)
Preferred Skills
- Awareness of Ruby on Rails will be considered an added advantage
- Prior exposure to microservices architecture is a plus
- Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly
