Join the Control, Finance & Operating (CF&O) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategies team at Goldman Sachs and contribute to advancing AI initiatives aimed at driving operational efficiency and enhancing processes. In this role, you will work on key AI projects using Generative AI (GenAI) and AI modeling techniques to revolutionize business technology and boost productivity across diverse business domains.
As an AI Strategist, you will collaborate with key stakeholders from Risk, Controllers, Legal, and other critical areas to design, develop, and implement AI solutions that improve operational processes. You will also work with various teams within the company to integrate AI into workflows, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop AI Solutions: Lead the creation of advanced AI and GenAI solutions tailored to address complex business challenges in Risk, Controllers, Legal, and other operational domains.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with key business leaders to identify and prioritize AI applications that drive business process improvements and operational efficiency.
- AI & GenAI Methodologies: Utilize advanced GenAI techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and other AI-driven methodologies to build robust models and applications.
- Seamless Integration of AI Solutions: Work closely with business teams to understand their needs and integrate AI technologies into their existing workflows.
- Leverage Engineering Infrastructure: Collaborate with Goldman Sachs’ Engineering teams to ensure the successful deployment and scalability of AI applications on the company’s tech infrastructure.
- Continuous Model Evaluation: Regularly monitor AI models, making adjustments to improve performance, effectiveness, and accuracy.
- Stay Updated on AI Trends: Keep pace with emerging AI technologies and proactively integrate new advancements into the team’s AI strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI and GenAI solutions, with a strong focus on real-world applications and practical impact.
- Demonstrated expertise in GenAI techniques including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and other advanced methodologies.
- Strong programming skills, especially in Python.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective AI solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proactive mindset with a keen interest in staying at the forefront of AI technology trends.
