About the Role

Adobe is looking for a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join the team responsible for integrating Adobe Analytics with AdCloud. This role requires strong backend development skills, a deep understanding of REST APIs, and experience working with relational databases. You'll work within a unified engineering setup where ownership of testing and development goes hand in hand.

You’ll contribute to designing scalable systems and optimizing performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Adobe. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integration solutions between Adobe Analytics and AdCloud
  • Design and implement robust, scalable REST APIs for seamless data exchange
  • Develop and optimize relational database schemas and queries
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver functional features
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing
  • Troubleshoot integration and database-related performance issues
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best software development practices

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Equivalent practical experience may also be considered

Required Technical Skills

Python, Java, Apache Spark, REST API, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Database Design, Backend Development, Distributed Systems, Version Control (Git), Unit Testing, Agile Methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in backend programming using Python, Java, and Spark
  • Strong knowledge and practical implementation of REST APIs
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Solid understanding of database performance tuning and data modeling
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities
  • Comfortable working independently or in a team environment
